Reminiscences, ca. 1905, includes a copy, photocopy, and a typescript of the original manuscript relating Ryan's Civil War experiences, Dec. 1, 1863 to 1866. Described are the capture of C.S. Bell in Tenn., Fort Pillow, fighting, officers, marches to Memphis and Union City (Tenn.), fighting the 4th Missouri Cavalry, marching to Kentucky, Colliersville and Memphis (Tenn.), small pox, measles, pay, clothes, Negroes fleeing to the U.S. Army, and his officers.
